This ECA Workshop took place in Madrid on 19 June 2013. It was followed by JOQAR Dissemination Conference on 20-21 June 2013.
The workshop discussed the new strategy, the work plan and the working groups’ work plans for the coming two years.
At the last ECA seminar on 17 January 2013 the results of a strategic Management Group meeting and a proposal for a new strategy were discussed. Part of these discussions were that the provision of ECA services would require some changes in the organisational structure. These issues were thoroughly discussed by the ECA members.

Since its foundation by Law on July 19, 2002, ANECA has been consolidating its technical and institutional role within the framework of the integration of Spain into the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
ANECA has developed several evaluation Programmes in order to perform its activities: evaluation, certification and accreditation.
ANECA was one of the founding members of ECA. ANECA is represented in ECA management and working groups. ANECA is also part of the JOQAR Steering group in charge of this dissemination conference organised in close cooperation with ECA Coordinator. ANECA also participates in ECA Working Group 1 – JOQAR Accreditation Group.
