For the first time ECA has awarded a Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation to a university outside Europe. A panel of four experts chaired by Prof Hans de Wit and facilitated by the National Accreditation Council of Colombia (CNA) assessed La Salle University in Bogotá, Colombia. The procedure was part of ECA’s CeQuInt project. The panel concludes that: “La Salle University demonstrates a strong commitment in building, developing and consolidating clear and consistent internationalisation processes that have had a positive impact recently, which are supported, both by the “lasallista” academic community and external stakeholders.”
The ECA Certification Group has checked that the assessment report complies to the agreed methodology and decided to award the ECA Certificate for Quality in Institutional Internationalisation to La Salle University in Colombia.
