Abstract
This publication, combining three separate books, contains the results of the the JOIMAN project. It targets academics in charge of joint programmes or involved in the international relations strategies of their institutions, as well as administrators at different levels involved in the management or implementation of the procedures connected to joint programmes (International relations officers, registrar officers, quality assurance officers etc). Book 1 presents the results of the survey launched in 2009 by the JOIMAN Network, addressed to Joint Programme coordinators and academics and administrators covering political and decision making roles within institutions. Book 2 presents the results of the study visits carried out to European institutions which coordinate or participate in joint programmes with non European partners. Book 3 presents the results of the self-evaluation exercise and the study visits carried out to European institutions which coordinate or participate in joint programmes at doctoral level.
