The Central Register of Higher Education programmes (in Dutch - Centraal Register Opleidingen Hoger Onderwijs), CROHO, lists all programmes of Higher Education in The Netherlands recognised by the The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The Ministry is responsible for the maintenance of the data, it collaborates in this regard with the Dutch HEIs and the NVAO. The final decision on the inclusion of training in the registry lies with the Ministry itself, as the Ministry is also responsible to check whether the accredited programme also complies with the efficiency requirements (in Dutch - doelmatigheidseisen) of the Ministry of Education. The registry is also available online since 19 June 2007.
