The European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education (ECA) is proud to announce the official launch of the ECA Expert Exchange Platform – a new, state-of-the-art tool designed to strengthen international cooperation in quality assurance (QA) across Europe.
Following more than a year of development in close collaboration with ECA member agencies, the platform responds to the growing demand for qualified international experts in external quality assurance procedures. It provides an exclusive and secure environment where recognised QA agencies can efficiently identify, connect with, and engage highly qualified experts.
Bridging Agencies and International Experts
The ECA Expert Exchange Platform enhances transparency and efficiency in the selection of experts. Agencies can submit specific inquiries based on clearly defined criteria, and the platform’s tailored recommendation system suggests the most suitable experts for each assignment. This ensures a strong match between agency needs and professional expertise, while final selection and engagement decisions remain entirely with the respective agency.
Strengthening Collaboration Across the Network
The platform represents an important step forward in reinforcing cooperation among ECA members and fostering stronger partnerships between QA agencies and experts. By facilitating access to international expertise, the initiative supports continuous improvement in accreditation and external quality assurance processes and contributes to greater connectivity within the European Higher Education Area.
