Conference: A Decade of the European Approach – Reflections and Future Directions

In 2015, the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes was officially endorsed at the Ministerial Conference in Yerevan. Now, a decade later, the European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education (ECA) has joined forces with the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) to reflect on the progress made, share experiences, and explore how the European Approach can evolve to better support joint programmes in the future.

With the rapid growth of European University Alliances, the number of joint programmes is rising like never before. What has worked well so far? How can the accreditation process for joint programmes be made even smoother and more effective?

Join us for the 10th Anniversary Event: “A Decade of the European Approach – Reflections and Future Directions.”

The conference will be hosted by the Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programmes (AQAS) and will take place on 17th of June 2025, from 9.30 am – 16.30 pm in Cologne, Germany (Cologne Marriott Hotel Johannisstrasse 76-80, Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia).

The event will bring together actors from the different stakeholders involved to take stock, learn and identify rooms for future development.
