<\/a><\/p>\n Some forty participants from a dozen countries followed three ECA trainings in 2017:<\/p>\n Two trainings on Assessing Internationalisation were organised on 28-29 June and 6-7 September in The Hague. The trainings were facilitated by Maciej Markowski (PKA<\/a>) and Dagmar Provijn (NVAO<\/a>). The training prepared participants for the assessment of internationalisation in the framework of the ECA Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation<\/a>. Panels that carry out these procedures need to have at least one expert who is trained for this job.\u00a0All participants have received a ECA training certificate. The training certificate allows participants to register themselves in the ECA Experts Exchange Platform<\/a> (EEEP). QA agencies carrying out assessments of internationalisation may search the EEEP to find suitable experts.<\/p>\n A training on\u00a0Assessing Joint Programmes was successfully organised in Cologne on 8 and 9 June 2017. The training focused on using the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes. The trainers were Ronny Heintze and Katarina L\u00f6bel from AQAS<\/a>.<\/p>\n
