Quality assurance

In higher education, quality assurance is a process of establishing stakeholder confidence that a higher education programme and/or institution is fit for purpose or measures up to predefined requirements.

Quality assurance has actually become a generic term which now refers to all types of external quality monitoring, evaluation or review.
