Membership application form

To become a member of ECA, you will need to apply for membership by filling in the form below. You can also use this form if your agency cannot fulfill all membership criteria but would like to become an observer. For more information on members and observers see here.

The membership criteria are:

  • establishment as a corporate body or ┬ábased on national or regional regulations or agreements;
  • registered office in a country which participates in the Bologna Process;
  • accreditation or accreditation-like practices as one of its principal functions;
  • contribution to the objectives of the Association;
  • fulfillment of the ECA Code of Good Practice and/or the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance.

Fields marked with a * are mandatory.

  • The full original name of the agency.
  • English translation of the full name of the agency.
  • The acronym or abbreviation of the name of the agency.
  • The country where the agency is based.
  • The person whom ECA can contact concerning this application form
  • The telephone number of the contact person.
  • The e-mail address of the contact person
  • Under which authority was the organisation established? Is the organisation established by law as a corporate body or based on national regulations or agreements?
  • What are the primary responsibilities of the organisation?
  • Please indicate how your organisation will: actively contribute to achieve mutual recognition and mutual learning; provide transparent information on quality; facilitate internationalisation.
