On 22 June 2017 the ECA members have admitted the Latvian agency AIKA (Academic Information Centre / Latvian Quality Agency for Higher Education) as new member agency of ECA.
AIKA is a young agency and is in the process of undergoing its first external review according to the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). ECA membership of AIKA is granted with the expectation that a positive external review result will be secured in 2018.
