On 5-6 October 2017, the Erasmus+ National Agency, Nuffic, The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and NVAO organised an international Peer Learning Activity (PLA) on the new European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes.

This European Approach makes it possible for international joint and double/multiple degree programmes to undergo one single accreditation following agreed standards and procedures, with the accreditation decision to be automatically accepted in all EHEA countries. At the PLA meeting, representatives of ministries of education, quality assurance organisations, higher education institutions from various European countries, and the European Commission formulated action points to encourage the implementation of the European Approach. The final PLA report and powerpoint presentations are now available.
