photo-ECA-seminar-MOOCs-2013-21 The Multilateral Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Accreditation Results regarding Joint Programmes (MULTRA) now teams up 12 quality assurance agencies.

On 14 December 2010 ECA members launched the Multilateral Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Accreditation Results regarding Joint Programmes (MULTRA).
On 11 December 2013, at the occasion of the ECA Winter Seminar on “MOOCs and external quality assurance“, the MULTRA was signed by Dr. Ivan Leban the Director of the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (SQAA).

The purpose of the MULTRA is to simply the accreditation of joint programmes by mutually recognising the results of accreditation of joint programmes in an increasing number of countries.

The MULTRA now covers agencies from the following countries: Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia and Spain.
